Shipping

All Cartographer3D orders are dispatched from the United Kingdom. Orders are packed and handed to our carrier the same or next business day after payment clears — our average fulfilment time is 14 hours. You'll get a dispatch email with tracking as soon as your parcel leaves us.

Shipping options

Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Carrier delays, customs inspections and local postal backlogs are outside our control, and we can't guarantee a delivery date on either service.

Tracking your order

Both services include tracking. Your tracking number is issued once the parcel is handed to the carrier, so it can take a few days before the first scan appears. If your tracking hasn't updated after five business days, email us and we'll chase it.

Duties, taxes and customs

Import rules changed significantly across most major markets during 2025 and 2026. Here's where things stand:

• United Kingdom — UK VAT is included in the price you see at checkout. Nothing further to pay on delivery.
• European Union — We're registered for IOSS, so EU VAT is collected at checkout rather than at your door. Since 1 July 2026 the EU has also applied a customs duty to low-value parcels from outside the bloc, which IOSS does not cover, this is charged as your shipping fee as we had no other way to implement it without risking over charging you on multiple items.
• Everywhere else — Import duties, taxes and customs handling fees are set by your country and are your responsibility. We have no control over these charges and can't predict or refund them.

Remote area surcharges

Some addresses attract a remote area surcharge from our carriers. If your address is affected, or if your chosen shipping option turns out to be unavailable, we'll contact you before dispatch to agree a way forward. We'll never add a charge without asking you first.

Changing or cancelling an order

Email support@cartographer3d.com as soon as possible. If your order hasn't been dispatched, we can usually amend or cancel it.

Once an order has dispatched, we can't recall it. Please don't refuse the delivery. Refused parcels are frequently destroyed or lost in transit rather than returned to us, and we can't refund an order we never get back.

If you no longer want an order that's already on its way, accept the delivery and email us. We'll send you a return label and refund the cost of the goods once they arrive back with us, less any shipping and IOSS or duty costs already incurred.

Undelivered and returned parcels

If a parcel comes back to us because the address was incomplete, nobody was available to sign, or it went unclaimed at a collection point, we'll contact you. You can choose a refund for the goods (less shipping and any duties paid) or pay for re-delivery. Please double-check your address at checkout — it's the single most common cause of a failed delivery.
