The Cartographer Probe V4 JRRF Edition is a special limited release of the Cartographer Probe V4, created exclusively for JRRF.

This edition features a beautiful custom design by volt64bolt, printed directly onto the PCB using a high quality full colour silkscreen finish. The result is a premium looking probe that stands out on your toolhead while still delivering the performance, precision, and reliability expected from Cartographer V4.

USB and CAN Compatible

This probe works with both USB and CAN setups.

The probe ships with both USB and CAN cables and is flashed with USB firmware by default. You can easily change this to CAN firmware if required.

Cartographer and CAN

CAN provides easy and simple wiring. There is no need to run multiple wires from your MCU or use one of your limited USB ports. Simply tap into your toolhead's CAN output and enjoy a seamless setup.

It is recommended to run your CAN network at a baudrate of 1,000,000.

Input Shaping with ADXL345

With the probe's proximity to your printer's nozzle, the onboard ADXL345 can provide a higher level of accuracy when running input shaper compared with motor-mounted alternatives.

• Recommended Maximum Operating Temperature: 110°C ambient

Many components are rated higher than 110°C. The only component not rated for high temperature is the ADXL345. This was a choice made to keep the price down. We have observed no issues running the ADXL345 at higher temperatures, although we do not recommend relying on it for input shaping after prolonged use over 85°C.
